ActiveHome Professional 9-Piece Home Automation Starter Kit from X10
Wireless Technology uses AC power lines to line a small transceiver
control box to a series of modules, each about the size of a bar of soap.
The modules are plugged into the home's electrical outlets. Lamps and
appliances to be controlled are plugged into the modules, said Jeff
Deneholz, a spokesman for X10, a Seattle-based maker of home automation,
entertainment and security products.
